Boo, a descendent of Abraham Lincoln on his mother's side, is the greatest piedmont blues rediscovery in many years. He sings and plays guitar very much in the manner of the legendary Blind Boy Fuller. This is his first recording, and at the age of 79.
"He's one of only two musicians I've met over the years who can trace his musical roots back to Blind Boy Fuller, the most famous exponent of Piedmont Blues" said Tim Duffy.
Boo has just begun to pursue a career with his music, which he has performed only for his family and friends for 70 years.
